For those of you new to my blog, or if you’ve just forgotten because it has been so long since I have taken Muse photos, here is a recap of what I am trying to do:
“Adventures of My Muse” is a series of photo sessions with my son Mason, aka My Muse, in different locations in Orlando and the surrounding areas. A common question that I receive is, “What is the best location for my photos?” The answer to this question really depends on what you are looking for as a backdrop…do you want lush and green, water, flowers, a rustic feel, train tracks? One of my goals for 2014 is to visit as many locations in the area as I can and photograph them to give inspiration to all of my upcoming clients. I want to make sure to get some great shots of the area highlighted, and who better to “model” in these locations then my Mason, my inspiration and drive behind starting this photography endeavor!
Our next adventure took us to beautiful Baldwin Park. I love Baldwin Park because there is such a variety of locations. You want wild flowers? Check! (this time of year anyway) You want water and docks? Check! You want a city like feel with local businesses as your backdrop? Check! You want want photos of your kids running and playing in open fields? Check! I could go on, but as you see Baldwin has it all! Unfortunately, due to a little thing called “bed time” we didn’t make it through as many spots in Baldwin as I would have liked, but I got some great shots and Mason had a lot of fun. He LOOOOVED the ducks and I loved the evening light! This was definitely my favorite Muse session to date!
So who wants Baldwin Park for their next photo session???
This adventure is to be continued….
How pretty do these wild flowers photograph? Mason also had fun running around in them:)
This is Mason’s “smelling the flowers” face
There are several lakes in Baldwin with bridges and docks. Gorgeous!
Running around in a open field playing chase with dad:)
And then he spotted the ducks…..
Guess they said something funny:)
Mason was ready for the B E D at this point but love the moss filled walls in the downtown area. So pretty for pictures!
